    April White's home in Buderim, Queensland. The home was furnished with much of the furniture that had been at Stamford Park in the 1920s when that property had been owned by her grandparents, Jack and Belle Murray.

    April White, Jack and Belle Murray's grand-daughter, on her pony, Butterfly. Jack's Willys Tourer, in which the family drove from Queensland to Stamford Park each summer, can be seen at the right of the picture.

    The grandfather clock was a wedding present given to April White's mother by her parents-in-law when she married Tranby White in Scarborough, England. The painting is of April's mother.

  • Jack Murray's writing desk

    The photograph on the desk is of April White's brother Murray White in naval uniform. He was killed in World War Two when the Perth was sunk in the Battle of Sunda Strait in 1942.

  • John Ralston ("Jack") Murray

    Jack Murray, owner of Stamford Park in the 1920s. Jack owned a cattle station near Winton in Queensland and each summer drove his Willys tourer south with his wife and grand-daughter to enjoy the comparatively cool weather of a Victorian summer.
