McINTYRE (nee Martin) Margaret McIntyre 1886 - 1994

Mrs Margaret McIntyre passed away on 13th May, just 15 days short of her 98th birthday.

She was the eldest of five children born to John Martin and Susanna Hill. Margaret (also known as Maggie) married Jack McIntyre, the brother of Gordon Dobson's wife Ann. Maggie and Jack lived on a 230 acre property on the south-east corner of Kelletts Road and Taylors Lane. The farm had come down to her from her maternal grandfather Nicholas Hill who owned extensive land holdings on all sides of the Kelletts Road/Taylors Lane intersection as well as in Stud Road.
