REID Sue Reid
Obituary
A packed congregation of family members and friends gathered at the Rowville Anglican Church of St Andrew on 7th September for the funeral service of Tali Karng Close resident, Sue Reid.
Sue passed away at Cabrini Hospital on 2 September after a long battle with cancer. In a moving tribute to his wife of 33 years, Bob Reid, supported by daughter Jenny and son Andrew, spoke movingly of a brave and beautiful woman who had used her many talents to help make the lives of others happier.
Sue and Bob came to Rowville in 1988 and Sue gained the position of bursar at the then not yet opened Park Ridge Primary School. She served in that demanding role with distinction as the school grew in numbers to become one of the largest in the state.
Sue joined the committee of the Rowville-Lysterfield Community News in 1994 and actively involved herself from the very beginning. Even in the last stages of her illness Sue was working on a project for the paper.
We shall miss her very much. To Bob, Jenny and Andrew we extend our love and deepest sympathy.
