Alan Prouse and his family lived in Buckingham Drive since the mid 1980s and were closely associated with the Uniting Church. Alan worked throughout his life for the church, most recently as an accountant at the Victorian Synod office. Locally, as treasurer of Rowville Uniting Church for ten years, he played a leading role in organising funding for the church building and the Bridgewater Centre. A highly respected parish councillor, he was always prepared to assist the young people of the parish. Alan is survived by his wife Roma and daughters Sandra and Judy.
